About NIOS Course:

Many types of courses are available in NIOS, but Ace has focused mainly on two courses.

1. Secondary Level (SLC)
2. Senior Secondary Level(+2)

1. 1.      Secondary Level:

Students who want to study secondary level should meet the following criteria.

ü  Student should pass eight grade two years ago.

ü  Minimum age of student should be 14 years.

1. 2.      Senior Secondary Level:

Students who want to study senior secondary level should meet the following criteria.

ü  Student should pass S.L.C or equivalent to it one year ago.

ü  Minimum age of student should be 15 years.

The subject in NIOS courses in each level includes both theoretical and practical and students are required to obtain 33 marks in each subject to pass the exam.

GED is a joint venture of the American Council and Pearson, are the sole developer for the GED test. The main purpose of GED is targeted on those people who did not complete high school and who do not want to attain school or college for their study. GED provides the opportunities to earn high school equivalency credential.

GED or American +2 in Nepal is recognized by the board of Nepal along with all around the world. GED provides the students flexible to choose two language and three other subjects. The students have to pass the five subjects.

In GED (General Education Development Test), students have to obtain 40 points in each subject including both theoretical and practical and totally 225 points in five subjects to pass the GED exam.

Process of GED In Nepal

Before GED Tests:

Before taking GED test students can take a sample GED practice test. This sample GED tests helps students to decide whether they are able to take actual GED Tests or not. This sample GED practical Tests enables students to perform high score in Actual GED Tests.

About GED Tests:

Admission of GED tests opens with limited seats. So students are inform to secure their seats a little earlier before the mentioned date. Students can confirm their GED test dates after the completion of their courses when they feel confidence about their test practice and courses of GED. The examination of GED Test will be held online in Kathmandu.

Most of the students raise the question, whether I need good computer skills or not for GED test?

We would like to inform that to take online GED Test good computer skills are not required. Before the GED test you are made familiar with the uses of computer. You need not to be panic during GED test.

The only thing is that you should arrive at least half an hour before the GED examination. You must have a valid identification to be admitted to a test center.

In addition to English, GED tests are available in many other languages as mentioned by GED Testing Service.

There are five subjects in GED tests. They are;

4. Science

After the success of GED Tests, Maine Department of Education, USA will mail you your equivalency diploma.
